Commented Unassigned: Handling of duplicate name of mib object while building MIB tree [7254]

Hello,

The SharpSnmpLib is unable to build MIB tree when duplicate names of mib objects are available within different modules.

Kindly suggest some solution.

Comments: Dear Lextm, I have a suggestion to solve this issue. While populating the list Entities out of Constructs, if entity will contain additional info regarding tree path for that module then that additional info can be used in tree building algorithm to avoid this situation. At present, tree building algorithm checks only parent name but availability of this additional info in entity will help in taking decision to identify exact parent. Regards, Gautam
